The Band

By definition. the Elixir of Life is an imaginary substance thought to purify and heal the soul, analogous to purifying lead into gold. The newest Elixir now found in Phoenix, however, is no imaginary substance or tonic off the snake-oil wagon.

The ELIXIR sound is an energetic, soulful, soothing, entertaining mix of Old School R&B, Motown, Smooth Jazz and funk.

Since the mid-90’s we have appeared at numerous venues throughout the Phoenix area, including resorts (Orangetree; Pointe Hilton; Scottsdale Radisson; etc.); clubs (SugarDaddy’s; Club Melody; etc.); casinos (Wild Horse Pass; Lone Butte); as well as events (P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘N Roll Marathon; MDA “Taste of the Towne” benefit gala; “Jazz in the Garden” series at the Botanical Gardens; City of Gilbert “Concert in the Park” series; etc.); and extensive and varied corporate and private affairs.

ELIXIR is made up of experienced professionals who are attentive to and conscientious about both the musical and business aspects of performing. We understand the fact that reliability and professionalism are every bit as important as musicianship for anyone looking to engage the services of a band. References are available upon request.
